They say the apple

They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. This is generally true unless a trampoline has been placed beneath the tree by someone like Uncle Ted, who believes that the best apples come from the top of the tree. His neighbor Kenny found him laying there and climbed over the fence to help him back into the house. Kenny was a good guy that way.

A person very close to me insists that throwing an apple core out of a car window isn't littering.

I suppose in the long view there's either no litter or everything litter. But as a person who eats the apple core, I'm not an diffident party.

Well, an apple core is biodegradable. So in that sense it isn't nearly as bad as a cigarette butt or plastic convenience store bag.

Of course, try telling that to the guy that get's hit in the noggin by a flying apple core from a passing car during a drive-by fruiting.

Three points for the "Mrs. Doubtfire" reference.
